Dr. Mohammad Shahnawaz Khan is a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine Surgeon with more than 12 years of experience in the comprehensive management of joint and sports medicine related problems, with a strong emphasis on academics and research. He completed his MBBS from prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and after completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, receiving a Gold Medal, he has received training in Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine and Computer Navigation Surgery in various prestigious institutes in the UK and South Korea, including the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, which is a world renowned center for joint replacement surgery.
His special interests include primary and complex joint replacement surgery, revision joint replacement surgery, computer assisted orthopaedic surgeries, high tibial osteotomy, sports injuries, trauma and regenerative medicine like PRP and stem cell therapy.
Dr. M. Shahnawaz Khan maintains an enthusiastic interest in clinical medicine, research, and education. He has many peer reviewed international publications to his credit. He has read more than 20 papers in International & National conferences. He has been faculty at Cadaveric Computer Navigated Knee and Hip Arthroplasty Course, held at University of Dundee, UK.
